Ras al Khaimah Women’s College was opened in 1993. Since that time, the college has grown to include state of the art facilities which match its innovative learning model. In classrooms equipped with internet access, smart boards and data projectors, students are encouraged to develop excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills. The college emphasizes the importance of individual effort as well as the ability to work in a team. Students are expected to become independent, innovative learners. Teachers are encouraged to model these qualities in their teaching practice, ensuring a drive and focus on the provision of a rich variety of first-class learning experiences.
Teachers and students enjoy full access to a wide range of online information resources in the Learning Resource Centre as well as the latest educational software in the newly created Learning Centre. The campus also contains workshops and laboratories, a fully equipped Audio Video studio, and more.
