About TWENTY FIVE YEARS AGO, in the year 1968, two brothers, MR. MOHD TUFAIL SULTAN & MR. MOHD YOUNIS SULTAN, worked as Carpenters, and Foreman in leading Carpentry and Contracting Companies in Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Sharjah, U.A.E, decicded to start a Carpentry & Joined Firm of their own. They wanted to fully utilize their expertise, experience and know-how in the line for the benefit of the people at large. Thus, came into being, the "MUGHAL CARPENTRY WORKS" with a license from the Sharjah Muncilpality. TO-DAY it had developed into "Mughal Wood Works Factory L.L.C", having established on its own land (where other similar firms work on rental buildings) with TWO LARGE FACTORIES AND RESIDENTIAL QUARTERS, having licenses in Sharjah & Abu Dhabi and with an ANNUAL TURN OVER OF MORE THAN 5,000,000/- in UAE.

Global Food Industries (GFI) is a leading marketing and manufacturing company of value-added frozen food products. The company is located in Sharjah, and is part of the Al Batha Group. We import frozen raw material from over the world, add value to this raw product, package, sell and distribute it within the GCC. We currently produce three brands Al Areesh, Arctic Gold and Al Ameer. Al Areesh and Arctic Gold are premium quality brands and Al Ameer is our economy brand
