Hamriyah Free Zone Authority was established by an Emiri decree issued in November 12, 1995. It is located in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, which gives the free zone a unique geographic and time zone advantage backed by a secure and fully convertible currency and a multi-access to neighboring and global countries through land, sea and air. Hamriyah Free Zone is fast becoming one of the cornerstones of the United Arab Emirates industrial development. As the Next Generation Free Zone, Hamriyah Free Zone is ensuring that its management is flexible and dynamic besides being an investor oriented free zone.

Sharjah Library lies in Muailiah area close to university city in Sharjah city with an area of 20,000 square meters and can accommodate 549 people at a time. Its a public library which opens its doors to all members of society from Saturday to Thursday from 8.00 A.M. to 8.00 P.M. continuously except Fridays and other official holidays. No conditions for entering and make use of library resources.

The Sharjah library contains more than 3,00,000 volums with future accommodation of one million volumes and other future development plan.

The library offers photocopying facility for the valuable reader. Library merely charges 25 fills / copy per (Black & White) and 50 fills/copy per colored copy.

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry was formed following an Amiri Decree issued in 1970 by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah. It aim has been to take part in organizing economic life and support trade, industrial and professional sectors at all levels in cooperation with other local departments in the interest of the country.
