Fujairah Port is situated on the Eastern Seaboard of the UAE, approximately 70 nautical miles from the Straits of Hormuz.

The Emirate of Fujairah enjoys good and growing road connections with UAE and adjoining countries.
Fujairah along with Singapore and Rotterdam ranks as one of the top 3 Bunkering points in the World. On shore tank capacity will exceed 1.8 million cubic metres during 2003.

Tourism in Fujairah have the priority due to the significant role that tourism plays in introducing the UAE society with its heritage and traditions including Fujairah with its wonderful beaches, mountain chains and archeological sites with history goes back to thousands of years.

The progress and development that the Emirate of Fujairah have achived, especially in the sector of tourism, have tempted Supreme Council member and ruler of Fujairah H.H.Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi in 1997 to issue a directive pertaining the establishment of Fujairah Tourism Bureau (FTB) under the chairmanship of Sheikh Saeed Bin Saeed Al Sharqi for the purpose of developing and promoting tourism, and to utilize the variant natural and cultural factors of attraction.
