Spinneys Abu Dhabi opened its first supermarket in 1961 and since then, has built a reputation of Quality and Service with its loyal customers for almost 40 years. Spinneys Retail currently has one site servicing the shopping needs of Abu Dhabi. It is located in Khalidiya area.

Arabian Tailor Group were founded on 1917 in Abu Dhabi in very simple level at that time, by its co-founder "Abdulla Ahmed Mohammad Khury; and then by "Mohammad Jassim Abdulla Khury", who moved it to Al Ain city and completed the role of the real founder, and participated in establishing new other branches in different places and locations in the country, specially Al Ain branches. After his death, the group and its branches become one of the most modernized companies run by a selected board, most come from "share-holders" to improve it has always looked for an outstanding organized and progressed instrumental and andministrated system, who usually also follow update technology in computer systems.

Year 1981, UAE saw the birth of a retailing revolution through the inception of the first 'Abu Dhabi Co-op' supermarket. Seven committed professionals put together their efforts to see through a 30,000sqft. supermarket and little did they know this odyssey would turn to a $30 billion organisation, employing 2,200 professionals with primary interests in Hypermarkets, Supermarkets, Shopping malls, Retail parks & Franchise operations.
