Al Rayyan National (Pvt.) School was founded in September, ’94 with the objective of imparting high quality English medium education to children of nationals and expatriates irrespective of their religious, racial and linguistic background. The other primary goal of the school has been to reduce the burden on working parents by introducing the concept of self-study session during which most of the students complete their homework in the school itself. This practice also encourages self-reliance among students.
At a higher level, the School aims at developing its students into men and women of character and vision, aware of the social and material realities of this world, scientific in their outlook, pragmatic and successful in this life, fearful of their Creator and fully prepared for the life Hereafter. This goal is achieved by giving a scientifically balanced curriculum to the students, blending the academic work with co-curricular activities and by creating a friendly and socially rich atmosphere in the school.

It was first offered in association with the Institute of Data Processing Management (IDPM) - London. In 1991 we started to offer the programme in association with and under full supervision from Liverpool John Moores University - UK. Liverpool JM University is a world-class British state university that is recognized worldwide.
