The past year has been one of continued high achievement and great progress. In 2006-2007, our twenty-fifth academic year, our roll was 2430 students, the highest in the school’s history, and our students’ results in the May/June 2006 British IGCSE, AS and A-level examinations and in the 2005-2006 American PSAT, TOEFL, and SAT tests were excellent. In addition, our graduates were admitted to very competitive courses at top-ranked universities.
Al-Worood was approved for continuing accreditation for the 2006-07 school year by the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA) in the USA. To maintain accreditation, our school demonstrated that it continued to meet quality standards and was engaged in an improvement process that enhances student performance.
